Conditions for Applying the 0% VAT Rate
  • Your VAT number must be registered in an EU country other than the Sweden.
  • The transaction must meet intra-Community supply conditions (goods physically transported to another EU country).
  • A VAT-registered company in France cannot order under a French company name and deliver to Germany.
  • Billing and delivery addresses must match the country of company registration.
Business Purchase at 0% VAT Rate (with Account)
  1. Create a customer account at HyperScale Depot Sweden AB.
  2. Enter name, company name, and address associated with your VAT number.
  3. Click "Validate" to check your details in the VIES system.
  4. After verification, purchases will not include VAT.
Business Purchase at 0% VAT Rate (without Account)
  1. Add products to your shopping cart.
  2. Click "Proceed to Checkout" or "View and Edit Cart".
  3. Enter full company details and VAT number under "Shipping Address".
  4. Click "Validate" in VIES.
  5. Select shipping and payment method.
  6. After validation, VAT will not be charged (visible in "Order Summary").
  7. Click "Place Order" to complete purchase.

Orders placed without an account cannot be linked to a newly created account or order history later.

How to Check the Validity of Your VAT Number
  • Verify your VAT number is active in the VIES system: > Check VAT Number in VIES
  • VAT number must match your company's name and address as registered in the tax system.
  • Ensure correct VAT format by country. Examples:
    • Sweden (SE): SE999999999901 (12 digits)
    • Denmark (DK): DK99999999 (8 digits)
    • Finland (FI): FI99999999 (8 digits)
    • Ireland (IE): IE9S99999L (1–2 digits + 5 digits + 1 letter)

What to Do if Your VAT Number Is Not Accepted
  • Possible reasons: incorrect entry, expired, not VAT-registered, VIES maintenance.
  • Solutions: verify in VIES, check with national tax authority, contact customer service, retry if VIES unavailable.
  • VAT paid at checkout cannot be refunded. Ensure VAT number is correct and active before completing purchase.
